Guests are invited to an elegant evening celebrating the finest Jersey produce, as Ocean Restaurant collaborates with La Mare Wine Estate for a specially curated dinner. Showcasing exceptional local ingredients paired with distinctive island drinks, the experience promises a refined journey through Jersey’s rich culinary landscape.

On arrival – a glass of Petillant Naturel – a collector’s edition of La Mare’s sparkling wine

Canapes
Chicken liver, cep, redcurrant and port tartlet
Cured mackerel, melon, vodka and cucumber croustade
Blue cheese, walnut, pear and cider mustard choux

Homemade sourdough and handmade butter

Home-cured salmon gravadlax
Potato blinis, creme fraiche, sweet pickled cucumber ‘spaghetti’, Jersey Royal gin and tonic granite

Pure Jersey Pitchfork cheddar cheese fondue
Tomato jelly, Jersey tomato and black butter relish, gazpacho sorbet, white tomato essence

Jersey lobster raviolo
Buttered leeks, locally foraged sea succulents, Jersey lobster bisque finished with apple brandy

Duck a l’orange
Three fruits marmalade glazed duck breast
Carrot cake, caramelised chicory, carrot, orange and vanilla puree,
duck jus finished with whisky marmalade

Spiced apple and black butter tart
Brown butter ice cream
