The Atlantic Hotel’s Mark Jordan fronts Jersey Royals cook along live on Facebook
On Sunday 18th May at 12 noon, Mark Jordan, Executive Head Chef of The Atlantic Hotel, along with Great British Chefs, will host the first Facebook cook-along, guiding followers through an exclusive Jersey Royals recipe, created especially for the event.
Spring has arrived, and the long anticipated Jersey Royals season is now upon us. To celebrate the warmer weather, longer days and this stunning seasonal produce, Jersey Royals has invited chef Mark Jordan and Great British Chefs to take part in this exciting initiative.
Mark will prepare an exclusive Jersey Royals recipe of Pan Roasted Fillet of Salmon with Marinated Jersey Royals and Dill and Crab Salad live on the Great British Chefs Facebook page, home to the UK’s finest chefs. He will offer step-by-step guidance, tips and advice to make sure everyone taking part can recreate and enjoy this delicious dish at home.
Commenting on the cook-along, Mark Jordan said: “Most people will agree that Jersey Royals taste great served with just butter and a pinch of salt but I hope that my live Facebook cook-along will give people at home the confidence to create something quite special with the seasonal spud. The dish might sound a little complicated but I’ll be taking everyone through the recipe step-by-step and teaching some little tricks of the trade as I go.”

The one hour cook-along will take place live on Sunday 18th May at 12 noon and the full ingredients list will be available online on Thursday 1st May at www.greatbritishchefs.co.uk and on Jersey Royals Facebook.
Mark Jordan’s Pan Roasted Fillet of Salmon with Marinated Jersey Royals and Dill and Crab Salad dish will be on the lunch menu at The Atlantic Hotel’s Ocean Restaurant from 19th May.
