The Atlantic Hotel offers new Al Fresco Barbecue events
Guests at The Atlantic Hotel, Jersey this summer can soak up the glorious surroundings as they dine, with a new barbecue menu being served Al Fresco on the terrace. And for the first time this year, a series of special barbecue lunch events are also being held at The Atlantic.
The events are designed to make the most of the hotel’s incomparable headland location and breathtaking views over St Ouen’s Bay. Under the expert guidance of executive chef Will Holland and prepared on two Big Green Egg barbecues, the menu has been created to showcase Jersey’s world class ingredients – all accompanied by the sound of the sea and a fresh ocean breeze.
The next event takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, 26th August when an extensive barbecue buffet will be served on the terrace. Dishes include the freshest of seafood, from a succulent half Jersey lobster served with vanilla butter and exotic fruit salad, to sea bream served with tomato, olive, basil, lemon and olive oil dressing. Refreshing salads balance the plate, from the classic Jersey Royal potato salad, to a delicious avocado, strawberry and samphire salad with goat’s curd dressing. Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy desserts such as barbecued peaches served with mascarpone and basil, and smoked dark chocolate brownie served with caramelised bananas.
