The Atlantic Hotel Manager recognised with Jersey Business Productivity Pro Award

The Atlantic Hotel is delighted to announce that Hotel Manager, Dror Danino-Forsyth, has been recognised with the Wellbeing That Works Award at the inaugural Jersey Business Productivity Pro Awards 2026.

Presented at the Jersey Business Conference at La Mare Wine Estate on 24 June, the award celebrates initiatives that successfully improve employee wellbeing while delivering measurable business benefits.

Patrick Burke, Owner of The Atlantic Hotel, commented: “We are delighted that Dror has received this recognition. Since joining The Atlantic in 2021, he has shown a real commitment to improving the way we support our team and operate the business. This award is a fitting recognition of his leadership and the positive impact he continues to make across the hotel.”

Dror received the award following his management of a workforce planning project that transformed the way staffing is operated across the hotel. Developed following The Atlantic Hotel’s participation in Jersey Business’s Improvement Programme, the initiative introduced a new digital time and attendance system designed to provide greater flexibility, transparency and work-life balance for employees, while helping the hotel respond more effectively to seasonal demand.

The project has enabled team members seeking additional hours to support different departments during busy periods, created more opportunities for local casual workers and students, improved visibility of time off in lieu balances and streamlined payroll administration through the use of digital technology and automation.

Responding to the news, Dror said: “I am honoured to receive this award and grateful to Mr Burke and the entire Atlantic team for their support. This project has helped create a fairer, more flexible way of working, improving work-life balance while reducing day-to-day administrative pressures. It demonstrates that investing in employee wellbeing means working smarter, benefiting both our team and our guests.”

Looking ahead, The Atlantic Hotel will continue to explore how technology and AI can simplify routine tasks, allowing managers to spend more time supporting their teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
