The Atlantic Hotel listed in Top 25 Best UK Hotels in TripAdvisor Awards
For the second year running, The Atlantic Hotel is celebrating being listed amongst the UK’s finest in TripAdvisor’s 2014 Travellers’ Choice Hotel Awards.
Ranked 20th in the Top 25 Hotels in the United Kingdom, outstanding customer comments for The Atlantic Hotel include “Exceptional”, “Five Star Hotel, Six Star Service” and “Simply the Best”.
Now in its twelfth year the annual Travellers’ Choice Hotel Awards recognise the world’s top properties for remarkable service, quality and value, earning their distinction from those who know them best – real travellers. Unlike any other hotel honours, TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice winners are based on millions of valuable reviews and opinions from travellers around the world.
The Atlantic Hotel is one of three hotels on the island to make the Top 25 this year and TripAdvisor spokesman James Kay commented “Jersey’s hotel industry is punching above its weight.”
This latest award follows on from The Atlantic Hotel’s success late last year when Ocean Restaurant was named among the Top 10 best place in the UK for fine dining in the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice 2013 Restaurant Awards alongside alongside Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons in the Cotswolds, Gidleigh Park in Devon and The Ledbury in London.
Commenting on this latest success for The Atlantic Hotel, owner Patrick Burke said, “To be highlighted in the Top 25 hotels in the country for the second year running is a great achievement and making the Top 10 in the Restaurant Awards as well is a wonderful tribute to the hard work and dedication of our entire team of whom we are so very proud.”
Across all of the award categories, it proved a fantastic year for the UK hospitality industry with 26 UK properties securing awards in the world’s best lists, up from 14 in 2013. Globally, only Italy secured a higher overall number of unique hotel award-winners than the UK.
