Luxury Travel Market (ILTM)

Atlantic Owner Flying the Flag for Jersey at International Luxury Travel Market

Patrick Burke, owner and managing director of The Atlantic Hotel, will once again be attending the annual International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) this December.

ILTM is luxury travel’s flagship event, providing the world’s very best travel agents and advisors the opportunity to meet the world’s very best luxury travel operators. As the leading ‘by invitation only’ event for this exclusive sector, ILTM brings together delegates from a community of 3000 buyers and suppliers across 95 countries.

The event takes place at the Palais des Congres in Cannes from 1st – 4th December and the family owned Atlantic Hotel is the only Jersey establishment to have a presence. Together with his wife Treena, Patrick will have a jam packed four day schedule of back to back meetings and events, and will have the opportunity to showcase all that Jersey has to offer the luxury traveller.

Commenting on ILTM Patrick Burke, who is also Chairman of Luxury Jersey Hotels, said, “We are acutely aware that targeting the luxury travel sector is key to developing the island’s tourism industry. This is our third visit to this prestigious event and we know that there is an appetite for the ‘Luxury Jersey’ offering. We’re excited to have a packed diary of appointments with some extremely influential individuals.”

Alison Gilmore, Senior Exhibition Director, ILTM Portfolio said, “We are able to identify the smaller properties and destinations that are truly undiscovered, bringing them to the attention of the very special luxury travel buyers that we host at the event and giving them what they crave the most: new experiences, different destinations and unique properties to deliver to their clients.”

Mr Burke went on to say, “We’re thrilled to have been chosen to attend alongside the crème de la crème of establishments and we will take this opportunity to promote not only The Atlantic Hotel, but the island of Jersey and its growing reputation as a luxury destination.”
