Jersey Royals Cook-along with Mark Jordan

On Sunday 18th May at 12 noon, Mark Jordan, Executive Head Chef of The Atlantic Hotel, hosted the first ever Facebook cook-along, guiding followers through an exclusive Jersey Royals recipe created especially for the event. Mark prepared his Pan Roasted Fillet of Salmon with Marinated Jersey Royals and Dill and Crab Salad live on the Great British Chefs Facebook page.

 

This is a ground-breaking initiative using social media to advertise Jersey Royal new potatoes to a wider audience.

 

Patrick Burke of The Atlantic Hotel said, ‘This is a great opportunity for Mark and Ocean Restaurant to showcase Jersey and Jersey Royal new potatoes, and we hope to be involved in many more such events in the future’.

 

The full ingredients list used in the one-hour cook-along are available online at www.greatbritishchefs.co.uk and the Jersey Royal new potatoes Facebook page, and anyone wishing to eat the real thing will be please to hear that it will be available on the lunch menu at The Atlantic’s Ocean restaurant from 19th May.
