Hotel Questions

Does The Atlantic Hotel have a car park?

Yes, The Atlantic Hotel offers complimentary car parking for guests. The hotel has two dedicated disabled parking spaces. The disabled parking spaces are located next to the main entrance doors. The hotel team can provide assistance if needed.

What time can I check in and check out of the hotel?

Check in at The Atlantic is from 3 pm and check out is any time before 12 noon.

Can I store luggage before check-in or after check-out?

Yes, we offer complimentary luggage storage if you arrive early or wish to explore after check-out.

Is the hotel open all year round?

The Atlantic Hotel is open from February to December each year, closing in January for refurbishment. Please check our website for specific opening and closing dates.

Which rooms can accommodate children?

Our flexible interconnecting room options are perfect for larger families or multi-generational groups to enjoy our relaxing Jersey family hotel.

Interconnecting Golf View or Ocean View bedrooms can accommodate a family group with the flexibility of double or twin beds in every room. Garden Studios can accommodate 3 people, including a child up to the age of 12. For multi-generational groups, our Garden Studios and Suites can interconnect providing luxurious family accommodation. Please enquire to find the best option for your stay.

Are there any interconnecting rooms?

Yes, we offer a selection of interconnecting rooms, ideal for families or groups wishing to stay together. As availability is limited, we recommend booking these rooms well in advance to ensure your preferred arrangements.

Do you offer a babysitting service?

Babysitting can be arranged in advance through Reception, and is paid directly to the babysitter. We use qualified babysitters from the Jersey Child Care Trust who would be grateful for as much notice as possible.

Do you have WIFI?

Complimentary high-speed WIFI is available throughout the hotel and on the terrace.

Does the hotel have a lift?

Yes, there is a lift providing access to all floors of the hotel.

Which payment methods do you accept?

The hotel accepts all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as cash payments.

Can we get married at The Atlantic Hotel?

Yes, The Atlantic Hotel is an ideal wedding venue. Set in ten acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and with a crisp, clean exterior reminiscent of 1930s marine architecture, The Atlantic Hotel boasts exceptional food, fine wines and luxurious accommodation that together create an unforgettable wedding experience.

Our Island’s marriage laws make it easy for couples to get married in Jersey. If you are living outside the Island, marriage applications need to be sent by post and once the paperwork is completed you need to arrive three working days before your chosen date, complete the formalities, collect your licence, and you’re ready to go.

Can I book a meeting or conference?

Yes, the hotel offers facilities for meetings and conferences with a range of packages to suit your needs.

Our Garden Studios are located on the ground floor with no stairs required for access. The wide door frames accommodate standard wheelchairs, and these spacious rooms ensure comfort for all guests. The bathroom features a shower over the bathtub, and the hotel acknowledges that this may not suit everyone’s needs. To enhance convenience, a portable frame can be installed around the toilet, and a bath lift is available upon request.

Can I bring my pet to the hotel?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at The Atlantic Hotel, with the exception of registered service animals.

Is smoking permitted in the hotel?

Smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms or in any public areas of the hotel. There is a dedicated smoking area by the hotel entrance.

Do you have any special dining experiences available?

We have a range of dining experiences available at The Atlantic Hotel, including our Atlantic Picnic, One-on-One Cookery Masterclass with Will Holland and our Jersey Lobster Tortellini Workshop and Lunch. We regularly host exclusive dining events and themed menus. Please visit our website or contact our Events Manager for details.

Can I arrange a private dining experience?

Yes, private dining options are available for special occasions. Please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements.

Do you offer afternoon tea?

Yes, Afternoon Tea is available daily. Booking in advance is essential. Afternoon Tea can be enjoyed in the lounge during the winter months, and on the terrace during summer, weather permitting. We also have a Children’s Afternoon Tea menu available.

What is the dress code?

The dress code for Ocean Restaurant is smart casual.

Do I need to book a table for drinks?

No reservation is required for drinks, but tables are subject to availability. Advance booking is recommended for dining.

Can I order room service?

Yes, room service is available 24 hours a day, allowing you to enjoy a meal in the comfort of your room.

Is there a children’s menu available?

A children’s menu is available in Ocean Restaurant, offering a selection of dishes suitable for younger guests. We also have a Children’s Afternoon Tea menu available as a special treat for young ones.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes, we can cater for various dietary requirements. We have a range of menus available, including Vegetarian and Vegan Options. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements when booking or upon arrival to ensure we can meet your needs. If you have severe allergies, please inform us in advance so we can take extra precautions.

What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served from 7.30 am to 10.30 am Monday to Friday and from 8 am to 11 am Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays.

Where is The Atlantic Hotel in Jersey?

The Atlantic Hotel is situated in the parish of St. Brelade, on Jersey’s dramatic west coast overlooking St Ouen’s Bay.

Do I need a passport for Jersey coming from the UK?

While a passport is not required for UK citizens, airlines and ferry operators may require photo ID.

Are taxis available to and from the hotel?

Yes, taxis are readily available, and the hotel can assist with arranging transport.

Is there a good bus route nearby?

Yes, Jersey has an efficient bus network, with stops near The Atlantic Hotel for convenient travel. Please visit the Liberty Bus website for more details, we are on route 22.

Can I arrange car hire through the hotel?

There are many hire car companies in Jersey with a wide variety of models available. We are happy to recommend Hertz and guests can either book directly online or call them on 01534 636666.

Can I hire a car from the airport?

Hire cars can be collected from the airport on arrival seven days a week. The Hertz desk is situated on the left-hand side of the arrivals hall at Jersey Airport. A current driving licence is required to hire a car in Jersey.

How far is the hotel from the airport?

The Wetland Centre in St. Ouen is easily reachable by car or bus from the hotel, or by a very interesting coastal walk.

St. Ouen’s Bay is nearby, with easy access from the hotel.

Can I play golf in Jersey?

Yes, there are several golf courses on the island, including La Moye Golf Club, close to the hotel, advanced booking is required.

Are there any shopping centres in Jersey?

St. Helier, Jersey’s capital, offers a variety of shopping options, including high-street and boutique shops.

Will my mobile phone work in Jersey?

Most UK mobile networks charge roaming fees in Jersey. Please check with your provider to avoid unexpected costs.

What currency is used in Jersey?

In Jersey, the currency is sterling, but we like to add our own twist with the Jersey pound, which circulates alongside British pounds. While you may receive Jersey pounds as change when shopping, British money is just as welcome here, and all major debit and credit cards are accepted.

Do you need to pack your adaptor?

Jersey uses UK-style 3-pin plug sockets and operates on 240V. Visitors from further afield will need an adaptor.
