Tickets on sale for Social Saturday at Eat Jersey 2019

Social Saturday will showcase the finest seasonal and locally sourced Jersey produce, with courses alternating between Will and Paul in a ‘four-hands’ menu. At lunch, a selection of four or six tasting plates will be served to be enjoyed with far-reaching coastal views while for dinner, there will be a choice of six or eight courses. Wine flights expertly paired by The Atlantic’s sommelier team will be available at both lunch and dinner. By working with produce grown, reared and fished locally, the festival will celebrate the island’s gourmet credentials whilst minimising food miles.

International charity Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust returns as Eat Jersey’s philanthropic partner. Headquartered at Jersey Zoo, Durrell has a mission of saving species from extinction and focuses on the most threatened species in the most threatened places.

Speaking of the inspiration behind the event, Patrick Burke, owner and managing director of The Atlantic Hotel, said: “We very much look forward to welcoming Paul Hood from the Jason Atherton group to The Atlantic. Jason Atherton’s restaurants are enjoying tremendous success and we are excited to be bringing some of the buzz of the London dining scene to Jersey. Social Saturday at Eat Jersey is a wonderful opportunity for islanders to come together with friends and family for a meal they will long remember.”
