The Atlantic Hotel marks 50 Years with new Anniversary Logo

The Atlantic Hotel marks its 50th anniversary this year, having first opened on 7th May 1970. Established by Henry Burke, father of current owner and managing director, Patrick Burke, the family-owned hotel has become a much-loved icon for Jersey hospitality. In celebration of 50 years, the hotel has designed and launched a new 50th anniversary logo.

The inspiration for the logo is taken from one of the hotel’s many unique aspects: its sunset. The Atlantic is the only hotel in Jersey where guests can watch the sun set over the majesty of St Ouen’s Bay year-round. It is renowned for its far-reaching views from the headland across the island’s dramatic west coast and makes the perfect spot for dinner or a cocktail in the golden glow of the evening light which is fitting indeed for the hotel’s golden anniversary.

Patrick Burke said: “Taking a moment to watch the sun set in front of The Atlantic as it has done now for the past 50 years remains very special to me. It is a reminder of all we have achieved together here at the hotel and on Jersey as a family and as a team. We are pleased that our new anniversary logo is able to symbolise a special moment that is the essence of Jersey and has been admired by so many of our guests over so many years.”
