Jaroslaw Nowakowski, Head Pastry Chef
Originally from Poland, Jarek rejoins the team at The Atlantic as Head Pastry Chef following time spent back in his country with his young family. Jarek studied hotel management and catering at university in Poland, spending time in England, Greece and France as part of his course.
Deciding on a career as a pastry chef, he has previously worked at a number of prestigious establishments, including Midsummer House, Cambridge and Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons, and has completed a ‘stage’ at Noma in Copenhagen, the quirky Nordic venue voted the world’s best restaurant in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Jarek is known for his impeccable attention to detail, use of the finest ingredients and his belief that every dish must be of the same consistent high standard.
