Fishing

The opportunities for shore fishing in Jersey are endless, and visiting anglers discover a wealth of marine life in the island’s harbours and breakwaters, including black bream, mullet and conger. For the more adventurous, inshore waters can be fished for bass, bream, rays, turbot and brill from one of the many charter boats available. And the reservoirs at Val de la Mare and Queen’s Valley offer fly fishing for trout from April to October, while coarse anglers can fish at Dannemarche and Millbrook reservoirs from June to March.

Aviation enthusiasts can take to the air for a trial lesson with the Jersey Aero Club under the tutelage of an experienced instructor.
