The Atlantic Hotel’s Will Holland a finalist in National Chef of the Year Competition

The Atlantic Hotel is pleased to announce newly appointed Executive Chef Will Holland is a finalist in this year’s prestigious Craft Guild of Chefs National Chef of the Year competition. This takes place at the Restaurant Show in London on Tuesday 3rd October 2017 shortly before Will joins The Atlantic on Monday 16th October.

 

Following four semi-final heats, the final will see Will and the nine other shortlisted chefs create dishes to impress using a mystery selection of ingredients. The competition is based on culinary skills, interpretation of ingredients and the resulting imaginative creations. Judges on the 2017 panel include Philip Howard, Claude Bosi, Dan Docherty, Paul Ainsworth and Sat Bains, along with chair of judges Gary Jones of Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons. This prestigious award celebrates the finest chef talent in the country, with past winners including Gordon Ramsay, Alyn Williams and Mark Sargeant.

 

Will Holland has previously been recognised by The Good Food Guide as one of its predicted 10 most influential chefs of the next decade and was named UK Restaurant Chef of the Year 2016 by The Craft Guild of Chefs.
