Covid-19 Safety Measures

We are carefully following all government directives regarding Covid and streamlining our operations while continuing to provide the exceptional attention to detail for which The Atlantic is known. The health and safety of our guests and staff is our top priority, and we are maintaining the highest standards of hygiene as recommended by the Government of Jersey.

Below you will find a number of key measures that we have implemented to ensure you can stay or dine with confidence. Despite these measures, most things remain the same at The Atlantic: the friendly attentive service, the exceptional food in the newly awarded four AA Rosette Ocean Restaurant and of course the breathtaking views!


The Hotel

  • Hand sanitising stations have been installed at the entrance to the hotel and throughout the public areas
  • All staff are wearing face masks and washing and sanitising their hands on a regular basis
  • Guests are not required to wear face masks but it is recommended in the public areas
  • Enhanced cleaning of guest rooms is in place with evening turndown service available by arrangement

The Restaurant

  • Strict table and chair sanitisation procedures are in place between sittings
  • The highest food safety standards will continue to be maintained at all times
  • Room service is available and can be delivered to guest rooms for those preferring to dine in the comfort of their room or self-isolating.

Arriving in Jersey

Travelling from within the Common Travel Area (CTA)

  • All visitors aged 11+ must complete a simple pre-departure registration form with the 48 hours prior to their arrival in Jersey.
  • If you are fully vaccinated there is no requirement to take a PCR test on arrival or undertake any isolation.
  • If you are NOT fully vaccinated you will receive a FREE PCR test on arrival (day 0). You only need to isolate until you receive a negative result from your day 0 test with results expected within 12 hours. Alternatively you can provide a negative Covid-19 PCR test result taken within 72 hours prior to arrival.
  • Children aged 10 and under do not need to complete a travel form, undergo testing or isolate. Children aged 11+ should follow the same guidance as adult passengers.

Travelling from outside the Common Travel Area (CTA)

  • All visitors aged 11+ must complete a simple pre-departure registration form with the 48 hours prior to their arrival in Jersey.
  • All visitors aged 11+ who have travelled outside the CTA in the 10 days before arriving in Jersey, will receive a FREE PCR test on arrival (day 0) and will be required to isolate until they recieve a negative PCR test resuls, regardless of their vaccination status. Alternatively you can provide a negative Covid-19 PCR test result taken within 72 hours prior to arrival. It is recommended that they also undertake lateral flow tests daily for 10 days after arrival.
  • Children aged 10 and under do not need to complete a travel form, undergo testing or isolate. Children aged 11+ should follow the same guidance as adult passengers.
