Atlantic Appoints New General Manager
The Atlantic Hotel has appointed a new General Manager, Jason Adams.
Mr Adams has a wealth of experience in the luxury hotel sector in the UK and joins The Atlantic from Seaham Hall Hotel and Serenity Spa, the AA Hotel of the Year for England 2004, where he was General Manager. Other hotels he has worked at include Studley Priory, also a member of Pride of Britain and Small Luxury Hotels of the World, and the internationally acclaimed Le Manoir Aux Quat’ Saisons run by Chef/Proprietor Raymond Blanc.
Mr Adams said “The opportunity to work in Jersey was one that could not be missed, and to be managing one of the finest hotels on the island is an honour. I aim to further raise the hotel’s already high standards and to build on The Atlantic’s growing reputation as a world class resort hotel.”
One of only two hotels on the island to receive a Five Sun grading from Jersey Tourism, The Atlantic is the sole Channel Islands member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and Pride of Britain. The hotel has been in local family ownership since it first opened in 1970.
Atlantic Managing Director, Patrick Burke said ‘We are delighted to welcome a General Manager of Jason’s calibre both to The Atlantic and to Jersey. This appointment follows on from a period of substantial investment in the hotel and creates an exciting opportunity to introduce new ideas and initiatives to the business.’
