Atlantic Website Shortlisted For Major Industry Award
Jersey's Atlantic Hotel has been shortlisted to to receive an award in the inaugural caterersearch.com Web Awards. The Atlantic Hotel in St Brelade has reached the final three in the ‘Hotel Website – Independent’ category.
The awards, which are in association with Nestle Professional, were launched earlier this year to recognise the tremendous growth of the internet as a tool for business in the tourism industry. The awards will be judged by a panel of web specialists and industry experts.
As a finalist, the site is also shortlisted for the ‘Website of the Year’ award, the result of which will be decided by a public vote. Anyone wishing to support The Atlantic can register their vote up until midnight on Wednesday 29 October at

The Atlantic’s new website was produced by London based digital design agency Fortune Cookie www.fortunecookie.co.uk who are specialists in the travel and tourism industry. In April, The Atlantic Hotel reached the final of the Travolution Awards in the ‘Best Hotel Website’ category.
Atlantic Managing Director, Patrick Burke said, “The Atlantic faces stiff competition from Scottish golf and spa resort Gleneagles and The Ritz in London amongst others. As the only finalist from Jersey it would be wonderful if we could get the support of the island’s online community and win this award to show that Jersey hotels can compete with the best in the world!”
